Craftsmanship and Ordering
Are your garments already available or are they made to order?
Each of our creations is unique and entirely handmade. We have a selection of ready-made pieces in our boutique; however, if the item you ordered is not immediately available, we will tailor it specifically for you. In this case, you will receive an immediate email notification with the estimated processing time, which is generally between 5 and 10 business days.
How can I be sure of my size for a tailored garment?
Our collections follow standard sizing, and our garments offer a regular fit, true to size. If you'd like personalized support or have any questions about choosing the perfect fit, our Customer Service team is at your disposal: you can contact us at any time via email or live chat for personalized advice.
Shipping and Delivery
Which countries do you ship to and what are the costs?
We deliver our creations worldwide via the most reliable express couriers, guaranteeing safe and tracked delivery. Shipping costs and transit times are calculated directly at checkout based on the destination.
How can I track the status of my shipment?
As soon as your order leaves the boutique, you'll receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. This way, you can track your package's progress in real time until it reaches you.
Returns and Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Customers may request a return authorization within 15 days of receiving the goods by sending an email to shop@laboratoriocapri.it. Items must be returned in perfect condition, unworn, unwashed, and with the disposable security seal and authenticity tag intact.
Can I return a made-to-order item or accessory?
If an item of clothing or accessory (including bags) is not immediately available and must be made from scratch by our master craftsmen, the customer will be notified by email. If the customer expressly accepts the waiting time for custom manufacturing, the right of return cannot be accepted, as the item is made exclusively to order for the customer.
How are customs duties handled for returns from non-EU countries?
For all returns from countries outside the European Union, the customer is responsible for all import customs duties. These costs (which generally range between 50% and 60% of the declared invoice value) will be deducted in full from the final refund for the returned item.
Care of Garments
How should I care for my silk or silk twill garments?
To preserve the noble fibers and the vibrancy of our exclusive prints over time, we strongly recommend professional dry cleaning only at specialized centers for delicate fabrics. We recommend not using the dryer, avoiding direct sunlight while drying, and always ironing on the reverse at low temperatures without steam.
Prices and Taxation
Are the prices online the same as those in your boutique in Capri?
Absolutely. All prices listed on our e-commerce site faithfully reflect the official price list applied directly in our Capri boutique. We guarantee maximum transparency, offering the same value and sartorial excellence both online and in person.
I'm a customer residing outside the European Union (non-EU). How are taxes and customs duties handled?
For our international customers residing in non-EU countries, shipments are invoiced with the application of Article 8 (export VAT exemption). The exemption from the Italian tax applied directly at checkout will thus offset the customs and import duties the customer will incur upon arrival of the goods in their country of origin.
