Refund policy

RETURNS

Laboratorio Capri is committed to ensuring full customer satisfaction. We offer the possibility to return one or more items which are not made to measure or customized and receive a refund equal to the price of the returned goods. Returns must be made at the Customer’s expense and responsibility within 15 days of delivery, provided that the items are intact and unused. For orders placed between December 1st and December 10th, the return period is extended to 30 days from delivery.

RETURN CONDITIONS

To return one or more items to Laboratorio Capri, the Customer must comply with the following conditions:

  • A) All items are delivered with an authenticity tag attached by a single-use security seal with the Laboratorio Capri logo. Items must be tried on without removing the tag or tampering with the seal. Returns will only be accepted if the security seal (plastic seal with thread or, for certain footwear, a label on the sole) is perfectly intact. We will not accept returns if the seal is cut, broken, detached, removed, or tampered with.

  • B) Items must not have been worn, ironed, washed, or treated in any way.

  • C) Items must be returned in the exact same condition as they were shipped and must be packaged and wrapped appropriately.

  • D) All other labels (fabric or hanging tags) must remain intact and must never be removed.

  • E) Returned goods must be physically delivered to the Express Courier no later than 15 days from the delivery date.

  • F) Customers wishing to change size, color, or item must follow the return procedure and place a new order on the website.

  • G) Returns are not accepted for underwear, works of art, or items made-to-measure or customized at the request of the customer.

  • H) Artisanal Footwear: As these are ALL handmade and made-to-order products, they can be exchanged for a different size but are not eligible for a refund. The right of withdrawal for these items applies only in the case of a defective product. However, minor micro-defects are considered normal characteristics of an artisanal product and will not be accepted as grounds for return. For footwear orders not present in our online catalog but created upon special request (custom color, size, or model), the shop reserves the right to refuse an exchange. A variable fee will be applied for color exchange requests depending on the model.

Failure to comply with any of the above conditions grants Laboratorio Capri the right to refuse the return and ship the items back to the Customer at their expense.

RETURN PROCEDURE

  • A) To request return authorization, the Customer must email shop@laboratoriocapri.it within 15 days of receiving the goods, specifying the item codes to be returned. Our Customer Service will then send a written confirmation with specific instructions.

  • B) Ship the package to: Laboratorio Capri - Shipping Office, Via Ignazio Cerio 6 – 80073 Capri (NA) – ITALY. Shipping is at the Customer’s risk: Laboratorio Capri is not responsible for loss or damage due to inadequate packaging or delivery delays. Items must be returned in the original packaging or a similar type. Inside the package, the Customer will find a security seal label to be placed on the outer packaging to protect both the Customer and Laboratorio Capri against tampering.

All returned items will be inspected by our staff. Laboratorio Capri reserves the right to assess additional charges if necessary to restore the items for resale. These amounts will be communicated to the Customer after the evaluation.

REFUNDS

If the return procedure was performed correctly and all conditions were met, the Customer will receive an acceptance email. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method: credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.

STORE CREDIT

As an alternative to a refund, the Customer may request Store Credit—a voucher valid for 6 months for a value equal to or greater than the replaced item. Store Credit will be activated by our Customer Care once the item has been received and its integrity verified.

RETURNS FROM NON-EU COUNTRIES

FOR ALL RETURNS ORIGINATING FROM OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION, THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL IMPORT CUSTOMS DUTIES. These costs vary by country (generally between 50% and 60% of the declared invoice value) and will be deducted from the refund of the returned item.
